British Gymnastics has released advice to all clubs regarding the spread of Coronavirus. Hand hygiene will be strongly promoted and encouraged, with new posters going up in the gym. All equipment and facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and wiped down as usual following use.
With specific relation to upcoming competitions, both Scottish and British gymnastics have decided against postponing any events at this time.
We do not plan to postpone or cancel any competitions or events. As it stands, clubs can continue to train as normal and all members should follow the advice on how to reduce your risk of getting and spreading the infection. Anyone showing symptoms should follow the reporting guidance through NHS inform. We will share updates wider if there are significant changes to training and competition attendance.

British Gymnastics does not plan to postpone or cancel any more competitions or events, but is regularly reviewing government advice and liaising with the venue operators. This includes Arena Birmingham for the Gymnastics World Cup and the M&S Bank Arena for the Gymnastics British Championships.
