Once your child’s place has been confirmed, please:
Club communications are sent by email. Please keep your email address up to date on JustGo, add the club to your contacts and check your junk folder if you are not receiving messages.
For questions about classes, membership or payments, email info@kingstongymnastics.org.
You can also speak to your child’s coach. If a conversation needs more time or privacy, please ask to arrange a suitable opportunity outside coaching time.
Our current training calendar shows holidays and planned closures. If a session is cancelled unexpectedly, we will contact affected families by email.
If you are concerned about meeting fees, please contact us privately as early as possible so we can discuss your circumstances and any available options.
If your child decides to leave, one calendar month’s notice is required, and fees remain payable during the notice period.
Please email info@kingstongymnastics.org so we can confirm your child’s final session and any remaining payment.
We welcome feedback about your family’s experience and would be pleased to discuss any concerns before you make a decision.

Our entrance is controlled by a coded security system. Please ask a member of staff for the current access arrangements.
To help keep everyone safe, please keep the access code private and ensure the entrance door closes securely behind you.
Please bring your child inside the building, to the gym door. Collect them promptly from inside the building, at the gym door. Gymnasts should only leave the building with a parent or guardian. Let us know in advance if someone different will collect your child.
Please take care in our shared car park, especially at dusk and in darkness.

Gymnasts should wear suitable gymnastics clothing that allows them to move freely and safely.
Our club leotard can be ordered by emailing KGC. Other club clothing, including T-shirts and shorts, is available from our online shop.
Long hair must be tied back securely, preferably in a bun or plaits.
Jewellery should be removed before class. If your child has a new piercing or an item that cannot be removed, please contact the club before attending so we can explain the applicable safety requirements.
Please bring a named water bottle and ensure personal belongings are clearly labelled. Leave valuables at home.

We ask gymnasts, parents and carers to help make Kingston a positive and respectful place for everyone.
Please treat coaches, volunteers, other families and fellow gymnasts with courtesy at training, competitions and club events. Encourage effort, recognise progress and support good sportsmanship.
Gymnasts develop at different rates. Coaches recognise individual progress and can discuss awards and possible next steps, including recreational development, Display, Acro and young leadership.
Our codes of conduct and social media policy explain the standards expected across the club. They are available online and in the parents’ waiting area.

If your child will miss a session, please let us know by email (which may be picked up the following day). Late arrivals should check in with a coach before joining activities.

Please tell us about any medical conditions, injuries, allergies or support needs that may affect participation, and update us when circumstances change. Speak to us about medication or adjustments before the session so we can agree appropriate arrangements.
Sending an email or informal discussion with a coach is the best way to do this.

Please check with the club before photographing or filming during sessions or events, and respect the privacy of other children and families. Our photography policy explains consent and how club images are used.
Every child should feel safe, listened to and supported at Kingston.
If you have a concern about your child’s wellbeing or someone’s behaviour, please contact one of our Safeguarding Officers. You do not need to wait until you are certain something is wrong to raise a concern.
Their names and telephone numbers are displayed in the gym.
You can also email:
safeguarding.kingstongymnastics@gmail.com
You may speak to the Head Coach if you need help finding the appropriate contact.
We welcome feedback and want to resolve concerns fairly. For routine matters, contact the club office.
Our complaints procedure explains how to raise a formal complaint.
Safeguarding concerns should go directly to a Safeguarding Officer.
